How Aqua Fits into the OCP 

The City of Kelowna’s Official Community Plan has designated the site that Aqua will sit on as the only Commercial Tourist Zone in the entire City. This C9 zoning means that the area is prescribed to be for a combination of uses, including residential, commercial and tourist. The City’s plan for the Cook Road Tourist Commercial Area is to create an even more popular destination, and the area currently includes Manteo Resort, the Eldorado Hotel and Playa Del Sol. Aqua promises to do it with flare and taste, all the while keeping Kelowna locals in mind.
