Boat Launch Redesign Update
Testing of the Eldorado boat launch redesign continued during June. As reported in our last email, the redesign of the Eldorado boat launch was endorsed by the City of Kelowna. Dockside Marine and the City of Kelowna Parks and Leisure Services Department helped with the additional testing, which took place to make sure that a number of different vehicles, towing boats of a variety of sizes, could easily utilize the new layout. Results from the continued test were very positive; the new design will be more user-friendly, will increase capacity and allow for improved truck/trailer stacking and a more efficient launch process.
Arrival at Aqua
The arrival area at Aqua is completely separate from the Boat Launch to avoid congestion.
